Ambire Wallet extension offers you a quick and easy option to swap or bridge your tokens, thanks to the integration of two of the biggest DEX aggregators - Li.Fi and Bungee.
You can access this functionality it either via "Swap & Bridge" icon on the dashboard, or by clicking on a token you want to swap, and select "Swap or Bridge" option.
Note: Ambire Wallet is charging 0,5% fee when you are using "Swap & Bridge" feature.
Whenever this fee is more than the mandatory network fee for the transaction, Ambire Wallet will sponsor the network fee.
The rest of the fee, of in case it cannot cover the network fee - the charged amount will be send to the WalletDAO, which latter be used for $WALLET token buybacks, token burns, incentives like Ambire Rewards loyalty system, and other activities governed by the WalletDAO.
1) First step is to select your "Send" and "Receive" tokens:
2) Once the swap pair is selected, please, enter the amount of tokens you want to swap, and shortly after you will be presented with a quote for the amount of tokens you will receive for that pair:
3) The quote you receive is based on the route with the best balance between the exchange rate and the expected time for the swap, but you can explore other available routes from this quote, by clicking on "Select route".
This option will open a window with all available quotes we received from both Li.Fi and Bungee, in case you prefer to use another route.
There you can also request quote with new routes for the selected pair.
4) Select the preferred route and then click on the "Proceed" button to see the quote for the network fee.
There are a two options:
Ambire Wallet is sponsoring this transaction - whenever the 0,5% fee from Ambire is above the mandatory network fee for the swap, the network fee will be covered by Ambire
Ambire Wallet is not sponsoring the transaction - in those cases you will be presented with a quote for the mandatory network fee and available options to pay it.
To finalize the swap, press the "Sign" button and sign the transaction.
5) Next page will provide you with information for the status of the swap.
You can close it and get back to the dashboard, start a new swap or leave it open to track the status of the current swap.
6) If you leave it one, you will be notified once the swap is complete.
7) The "View swap" link from the previous step, you open the Ambire Explorer, where you can see the overview of the swap.
In rare cases, your swap request might fail.
If that happens, you will be presented with an option to try it again.
The "Retry" button will bring you back to the initial swap page, where the pair of tokens will be already set, as well as the amount of the "Send" token.
Of course, you will be able to change them, if you want to.
