Colibri is an optional security feature available in Ambire Wallet for the Ethereum and Gnosis networks.
It acts as a stateless RPC verifier, independently verifying responses returned by your configured RPC provider. This helps ensure that the information your wallet receives hasn't been altered or spoofed.
What does Colibri verify?
When enabled, Ambire uses Colibri in two situations:
Account balances – Colibri verifies that the balance returned by your RPC provider is genuine.
ENS resolution – When resolving Ethereum Name Service (ENS) names, Colibri independently verifies the resolved address. This provides additional confidence that the address returned for an ENS name is authentic before you interact with it.

How to enable Colibri
Open Settings in Ambire Wallet.
Go to Network.
Edit the settings for Ethereum or Gnosis.
Enable Colibri verification.
Once enabled, Ambire will automatically use Colibri to verify supported RPC responses for that network.
Why use Colibri?
Most wallet operations rely on RPC providers to retrieve blockchain data. While reputable RPC providers are generally trustworthy, Colibri adds an extra layer of verification by independently confirming the authenticity of specific responses.
This helps increase confidence in critical information such as your account balances and ENS name resolutions, without requiring Colibri to maintain its own blockchain state.
