Unlike traditional platforms, Ambire Wallet stores the account information on your local device, including the seed phrase(s) and/or private key(s) you entered for your account(s).
This means that if you unlock the extension by using your device password and you have entered a seed phrase/private key for a given account, they are ready to be used while the extension is unlocked.
To prevent this, you can manually lock the device so that the next time you want to use it, you will need to enter your password.
You can also set a timer, after which the Ambire Wallet will be automatically locked in case of inactivity.
