Continuous Early Users Airdrop
Ambire Wallet were officially launched on 16th of December 2021, with the first version of the Ambire Rewards program, called "Continuous Early Users Airdrop". Total reward pool had 300 million $WALLET tokens, with the goal to be distributed during the first 4 years of Ambire Wallet.
All users with non 0 balances were rewarded with $WALLET every couple of seconds, proportionally to their portfolio net worth in USD at all times, and this gets recalculated every few minutes.
There were multipliers for being part of Lobster DAO and CryptoTesters communities, having regular transactions on Ethereum, being Ambire Beta tester and having Gas Tank NFT.
In June 2024, via governance vote, community decided to stop the early users incentive program in favour of new program, focused on the Ambire Wallet extension. Another governance vote, in September 2024 , decided to allocate the remaining 145 million WALLET tokens in favour of the new Ambire Rewards program, adding 50 million more from the WalletDAO treasury’s “Community reserve and DAO” allocation, bringing the total to 195 million $WALLET tokens.
During those two years and a half, Ambire Rewards program distributed 155 million $WALLET tokens to the early users of the wallet.
Ambire Legends (Season 0)
On December 12th, 2024, a new Ambire Rewards program have been introduced. It was called "Ambire Legends". This was the so-called "Season 0" - the test season of the rewards program.
Ambire Legends was a gamified rewards program, focused on Ambire browser extension early testers, and was exclusively available for Ambire Wallet v2 Smart Accounts.
It includes character minting and leveling up by completing various "quests", which rewards XP.
Season 0 of Ambire Rewards ended on May 8th, distributing 20 million WALLET tokens to the early testers of Ambire Wallet extension.
Ambire Rewards (Season 1)
Ambire Wallet extension was officially launched on May 8, 2025, with Season 1 of Ambire Rewards.
The rewards program received its current name, and continued the XP-based rewards structure of Season 0.
The official launch of the extension, and the rewards program were aligned with the Ethereum Pectra upgrade, that took place on May 7, 2025, offering another 20 million WALLET tokens to the participants.
It also introduced the Smarter EOA accounts in Ambire Wallet extension and focused it's quests towards the new "powers" that EIP-7702 brings to the EOAs, so users being able to participate with both EOA and v2 Smart Accounts.
