Password reset and recovery is not available for AdEx accounts. It is therefore crucial that you note down your password or save it in a password manager. If you forget your password you will not be able to reset it. Find below different scenarios and solutions for them:
- You forgot your password but you are still logged in to the platform: you can link your existing Ambire AdEx Account to MetaMask so you can use MetaMask to log in rather than username and password. Here's a tutorial on how to do it - just make sure you paste your MetaMask address and select Owner so you give full privileges to your MetaMask account. Read the tutorial carefully so you do not end up removing the privileges to your account by mistake! Please also note that you will need to have DAI in your account to pay the network fees for adding your MetaMask address.
- You forgot your password and you are no longer logged in to the platform: please submit a support ticket via our Help Center so we can help you recover your account. Note - you will still need a MetaMask account, but you will no longer be able to link it to you account yourself and we will need to do it for you. We can only do this if you have a balance of 10+ DAI in your account.
