Last week we saw Danish Chaundhry (FMFW.io) and Ivo Georgiev (Ambire) push the envelope on what freedom can mean in crypto — it was a juicy talk and it left us wanting more, how ‘bout you? If you didn’t catch it live, you can listen to the first part of episode 5 here.
This week we are taking things even deeper in the smart wallet universe, looking at the tech, the products and their future through a developer lens. Meg Dematteo’s guests will be Richard Meissner — Co-founder and Head of Engineering at Safe, along with Ivo Georgiev — Co-founder and CEO at Ambire.
Since Ivo you already know as a recurring guest on the show, here are a few things about Richard: he started as a junior dev in web2, but quickly understood the best bet for our tech future is in blockchain. In 2017 he joined the Gnosis team as Tech Team Lead, where he remained until April of this year. He went on to lead the engineering department at Safe (previously Gnosis Safe), as it detached from the Gnosis mother-company in 2022 to become an independent product — being one of the most known and used (smart) wallets in the crypto community.
