Gas Tank is one of Ambire Wallet’s standout features, designed to make paying transaction fees easier and more flexible, especially when using multiple networks.
Instead of needing the native gas token on every network you use, you can pay transaction fees using your Gas Tank balance. You can top up your Gas Tank using 100+ supported tokens across 9 different networks. The list of supported tokens and networks is available here.
In simple terms, the Gas Tank allows you to use an ERC-20 token from Network A to pay transaction fees on Network B. You don't need to hold the native gas token, or even have a balance on Network B.
This makes it much easier to start using and exploring new networks without first having to acquire their native gas tokens.
How you can use the Gas Tank?
Once you have funds available in your Gas Tank, it will appear as an option under Pay with in the Network fee section of the transaction window.
If your Gas Tank balance is sufficient to cover the transaction fee, simply select it as your payment method before submitting the transaction.

Where does my Gas Tank balance come from?
Funds can be added to your Gas Tank in two ways:
1. Automatically through Cashback
When you submit a transaction, Ambire Wallet calculates an estimated network fee based on the gas conditions at that time.
The actual fee paid when the transaction is executed may be lower than the original estimate. In such cases, most of the unused amount is automatically credited to your Gas Tank. We refer to this as Cashback.
2. Manually by topping up
You can also add funds to your Gas Tank manually by sending supported tokens from your portfolio.
How does the Gas Tank help reduce transaction fees?
The Gas Tank works similarly to a prepaid balance.
First way is that you no longer need to make unnecessarily swaps, bridges and transactions, to secure native tokens on the network you want to use.
Additionally, using option to pay your network fees with alternative tokens requires additional calls in every transaction, which introduces additional gas costs.
By topping up your Gas Tank in advance, you effectively fund it through a single deposit that can then be used for multiple transactions. This reduces the additional gas overhead associated with individual transactions and can result in meaningful savings over time.
Can you withdraw from the Gas Tank?
No, Gas Tank deposits cannot be withdrawn to the account.
